In April, the water level in a mountain reservoir increased 0.6 m as the snow began to melt. In May, the water level increased another 0.3 m. In June, the water level remained constant; but in July the water level decreased by 0.2 m due to a dry spell. At the end of July, the water level was 14.2 m. What was the water level at the beginning of April?

How would I solve for this?

14.2 = 0.6+0.3-0.2+x

I think this is it but I am not to sure.

Step-by-step explanation:

Base on the given condition, formulate:

0.6+0.3-0.2

0.9-0.2 equals 0.7percent.and turn it into a percentage,which will give you 70 percent
